Do not look here for proscriptive faith or advice. That is not our intention. Look with us rather for life, and share with us in the search for the new life offered us in Jesus Christ, that we may take up together the faith of the psalmist whose passion was to be a “companion of all those who fear God” (119:63).

A site designed to reflect on life, faith, and the future from a Christian perspective.

We affirm our roots in a tradition confessing that “Holy Scripture, the Old and the New Testament, is the Word of God and the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct.”

We also affirm the influence of classical Christianity as nurtured in affirmations of the Protestant Reformation and the later influence of German Pietism, which transformed the landscape of life for those immigrant Lutheran forebears who became in America (1885) the Evangelical Covenant Church to which we belong.

We further affirm that all we are rooted in is for a single purpose, to live now and into all our tomorrows, for God’s glory and our neighbor’s good.
